what would happen if you used more than 3 exposers? Could give interesting results, I'm sure it has be done before sadly.

with my old point and shoot I made everytime 5 or 8 exposures to get the same result ;)
maybe you can could increase the dynamicc range but in the end you will have no great different result :)
